Kane Hodder, as Lou
From playing Jason Voorhees in the Friday the 13th films to his latest role as Victor Crowley in the Hatchet series, Kane Hodder has been killing people on film for decades. Hodder, a professional stuntman, stunt coordinator and actor, has also been the only actor to play three of the most infamous horror icons in the history of horror films. And if that isn’t enough, he also played Freddy Krueger’s gloved hand at the end of Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday and did the stunts for Leatherface in Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3.
Doug Jones, as Dr. Lincoln
Doug Jones‘ sensitive and elegant performances as ‘Abe Sapien’ in Hellboy 1 & 2, Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer and Pan’s Labyrinth have endeared him to critics and fans alike. Doug has also acted in over 25 films, many television series (including the award-winning “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” – his episode ‘Hush’ garnered two Emmy nominations) and over 90 commercials and music videos with the likes of Madonna and Marilyn Manson.
Gena Shaw, as Marla
Gena Shaw has starred in numerous films (Not Another Teen Movie), television shows (Without A Trace, CSI), and national commercials (Budweiser, Verizon Wireless). Her Budweiser commercial debuted during the 2010 Superbowl.
Marissa Skell, as Carla
Marissa Skell has honed her horror chops in such films as Slumber Party Slaughter and the television show “1,000 Ways to Die.” She also played a principle role in Season 3 of “Anyone But Me,” the popular and award-winning web drama.
Michael McShane, as Slavko
King-sized actor trained in the classics and in improvisational comedy in Berkeley, California, which took him to England in 1990. One of the first artists to be accepted into the British improv field, he appeared regularly on the comedy panel of Whose Line Is It Anyway?
Shawn Weatherly, as Marianna
Shawn won the title of Miss USA and Miss Universe in 1980. Weatherly was the fifth Miss Universe from the United States, and the second from South Carolina. She is known for her roles on Oceanquest, Baywatch, Dukes of Hazzard and Police Academy 3.
Hugo Armstrong, as Chester
Hugo is an award-winning stage actor. His theatre credits in Los Angeles include plays at UCLAlive, The Kirk Douglas Theatre, Sacred Fools, Electric Lodge, REDCAT, Ghost Road, Theatre of Note, The Powerhouse, The Boston Court, and with Burglars of Hamm. His film credits include “Voice on the Line”, “Nanking”, the multi-award winning “Weak Species”, “Political Disasters”, and “Christmas Nightmare”, as well as numerous other shorts. He was also executive producer on the documentary “Char-ac-ter”. Armstrong’s television credits include MONK, Mystery ER, and the pilot for Xira.

Heather Rae Young was chosen to be the Playmate of the Month in the February, 2010 issue of Playboy. In addition, Heather has also worked as a swimsuit, glamor, and lingerie model. She’s been a spokesmodel for Captain Morgan, Smirnoff, Baileys, and Jose Cuervo, posed for both the 2010 Import Tuner calendar and the 2011 Fast Dates calendar, was featured in an ad campaign for the Affliction Clothing Line, and has made guest appearances in TV shows such as “Til’ Death.”

Zylan has an impressive history of television appearances such as House M.D., The Young and the Restless, Harry’s Law and Dark Blue. We are excited that she has joined our cast of Love in the Time of Monsters as Jade!
Jade Carter, as Johnny
Jade Carter has found success on TV starring in such shows as “JAG” and appearing in “Malcolm In The Middle,” “Cold Case” and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” to name a few. Most recently he starred in feature films Office Ninja and Love and War and appeared on “House: M.D” opposite star, Hugh Laurie.
Danny Vasquez, as Armando
Danny can be seen on recent episodes of NCIS: Los Angeles and Parks and Recreation among other films and television shows.
Paula Rhodes, as Agatha
Paula’s credits include the feature film Shuffle (where she stars opposite TJ Thyne from Bones), Brothers & Sisters, Cameron Romero’s Staunton Hill, Lions for Lambs, Think Tank (opposite Matthew Rhys), A Good Knight’s Quest (which she also produced), ElfQuest: A Fan Imagining (which she produced, co-directed, and starred in, premiered as the first red carpet event at the Screen Actors Guild building and which had a packed panel at the 2011 SD Comic Con), and a number of other web TV series, national commercials, & cartoons. Alex can be seen in and around Los Angeles performing with the Strait Jacket Society, his own improv group Weird on Top, and doing stand up at local venues.
Paul Elia, as Jim
Paul is an award-winning standup comic and actor, Paul Elia. Paul began his career as a stand-in for Michael Imperioli on Detroit 1-8-7. Along with his great comedic timing, he also has stunt experience. Since the Bigfoot Kids turn into monsters, the actors do a number of stunts throughout the film – therefore, Kane Hodder (playing Lou) and Stunt Coordinator, Rick McCallum, wanted some Bigfoot Kids who have stunt experience so that these sequences can look badass while remaining safe. You can see Paul at Los Angeles comedy hotspots, Laugh Factory and The Comedy Store. Paul heads to Italy this summer to shoot yet another film.

Joe began his LA theater career with the Zoo District theater company, and has since worked with Sacred Fools, Circle X, The Powerhouse, the Met Theater, The Evidence Room, and Orphean Circus. Productions with these companies include Laura Comstock’s Bag Punching Dog, for which he won the LA Weekly Theater Award for Best Comedy Performance. Joe played Sharik in Heart of a Dog, a performance which the LA Weekly called one of the top ten moments on stage of 2004. He has appeared on such TV shows as Gilmore Girls, Baby Bob, and Community as well as numerous independent films and commercials.
